About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Cantine del Notaio masters this red wine in the blooming and fertile countryside in Basilicata. With the first-class Aglianico del Vulture DOC Il Sigillo, which was produced in 2011, you will certainly have a lot of fun.

Tasting note
The grapes for Sigillo are the last to be harvested. The grapes are then extremely concentrated and produce a correspondingly dense, full-bodied wine. The winemaker's art is to add freshness and elegance to this power pack. The Cantine del Notaio succeeds in these projects in an exemplary manner. Dark ruby red, the wide bouquet is dominated by ripe fruit notes (rum pot). Close to the palate, with lush fruit and matching roasted aromas on perfectly integrated tannin. Warm and long-lasting in the aftertaste and aftertaste.
Vinification
The must undergoes a long maceration of around 30 days. The wine is then aged for 24 months, partly in barriques and partly in French oak tonneaux.
