About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Antichi Vigneti di Cantalupo masters this red wine in the blooming and sunny countryside of Piedmont. Tasting note
The Novaresi Hills are made up of moraines and alluvial land formed hill zone. The Nebbiolo vines benefit here from a maximum supply of minerals with little organic nutrient. Production is therefore on Naturally low but rich. The reputation as Producer of one of the best Nebbiolo wines outside Barolo and Barbaresco have Alberto Arlunno, owner the historic WINERY Antichi Vigneti di Cantalupo with created by his Collis Breclemae. What's wrong with him prevents the pressing of fresh and cheerful agamium as well, also from Nebbiolo, simply a selection of younger vines, perfectly vinified, in a fruity style, accessible, elegant.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Agamium Colline Novaresi DOC passt hervorragend zu Burrata, Prosciutto und Pizza. Im folgenden Zeitraum liegt die empfohlene Genussphase dieses Weins: Bis 2024.
Vinification
Die Vinifikation fand wie folgt statt: Die Colline Novaresi sind eine aus Moränen und Schwemmland gebildete Hügelzone. Die Nebbiolo-Reben profitieren hier von einer maximalen Zufuhr von Mineralien mit wenig organischem Nährstoff. Die Produktion ist deshalb auf natürliche Weise gering aber gehaltvoll. Den Ruf als Produzent eines der besten Nebbiolo-Weines ausserhalb Barolo und Barbaresco hat sich Alberto Arlunno, Besitzer der historischen Kellerei Antichi Vigneti di Cantalupo mit seinem Collis Breclemae erschaffen. Was ihn nicht daran hindert, auch einen frisch-fröhlichen Agamium zu keltern, ebenfalls aus Nebbiolo, einfach eine Selektion aus jüngeren Reben, perfekt vinifiziert, ganz im fruchtigen Stil, zugänglich, elegant.
