About the wine
The cuvée, with its amber-red glow, matures for one year in oak barrels, which previously contained red wine. The barrels and the resulting spontaneous fermentation give this beer a very diverse range of aromas. The secret of complexity, balance and full-bodied and long-lasting finish lies in the blend of carefully selected barrels.

Tasting note
On the palate, it is reminiscent of the structure of a fruity red wine with a pronounced balsamic acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Served at 16°C, in an elegant goblet, the Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien goes well with a confit leg of lamb, a carbonnade flamande or an epoisse cheese.
