About the wine
You will definitely enjoy the delicious AB Alicante Bouschet DOC Alentejo, which was produced in 2013. The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Herdade do Esporao masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the sunny and picturesque landscape of the Alentejo.

Tasting note
Rich ruby red. The scent of blackcurrant and raspberry is typical of this noble variety. The bouquet remains subdued and releases ever new layers of aroma. The slender body is shaped by granular tannins and strong acidity, and the taste of red berries rests on this again until the finish. Cool and pure.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with beef, venison and mushrooms.
Vinification
Fermentation at controlled temperatures (28 ºC) in small stainless steel tanks. Stored for over 12 months in 500L French oak barrels and 5000L troughs and then in bottles for a further 12 months before the wine is released on the market.
