Dark sparkling ruby red - invitingly complex nose with fruity aromas of ripe red and black berries, plums and cherries, plus spicy notes of herbs and noble tones of tobacco, chocolate and espresso. The start on the palate is characterized by lush fruit and sweeping aromas. Once again, there are notes of spices, cigar box and high-quality French oak. The tannins are surprisingly smooth and velvety for such a young wine of this style and the finish is long and pleasant. Despite its amazing accessibility, this wine will easily last 15 to 20 years.
