Tasting note
Complex bouquet of pickled amarena cherries, blueberries, figs, plums and fresh mint. Very complex yet delicate spicy notes of pepper, cloves, star anise, cardamom, tobacco and black chocolate. On the palate, it is powerful with juicy acidity, lots of fruit extract and crunchy tannins. Has great storage potential. This wine from over 80-year-old vines in a single vineyard is only bottled in the best years.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Goes perfectly with polenta, lasagna and red meat. The following period is the ideal phase of enjoyment of this wine: 8-15 years.
