Tasting note
The new member of the “Baur au Lac Vins and Lenz family” is very fragrant and fruity in its blend of the traditional Pinot Noir variety and various PIWI varieties. The bouquet creates a good mood with its aromas of blueberry, cherry and violet. On the palate, it is drinkable and fresh with great juiciness, soft tannins and youthful tenderness. The Ballenz inspires — preferably slightly chilled — as a soloist, for an apéro riche, with tapas or even with a meat platter.
