About the wine
Winemaker Nikola Zeljkovic cultivates 1.4 ha of vines in the city at the best locations in Sonnenberg/Hottingen and 4 ha in Riesbach/Burghalde in accordance with Integrated Production (IP) guidelines. For the 180th anniversary, we have put together this noble blend with the name of the founding year from the recently grown vines, Zweigelt and Merlot with small yields. A wine for special occasions.

Tasting note
Spicy, fruity aromas. Strong roasted aromas. Distinctive body with dense tannins. Storable character wine. Very fine, clear and open fruit. Aromas of blackberries, sweet cherries, some blueberries, later a touch of tobacco and chocolate. Well balanced, juicy fruit, subtle woody notes and perfectly integrated tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with barbecues or roast veal.
