About the product
This tequila is named after 1800, in which the first stored tequila was produced. The Jose Cuervo Distillery still produces according to the original recipe today. Only the hearts of eight-year-old blue agave are used, which were cooked in brick ovens. This tequila matured for a short time in American and French oak barrels. Before it is bottled, a small amount of longer-aged tequila is added to it.
