Tasting note
Vermentino is such a real island wine, it feels extremely good in Corsica and Sardinia. It's almost a Mediterranean white wine par excellence. Wonderful, subtle aromas of yellow stone fruits, fresh lemons, plus light herbal notes of sage, accompanied by mineral, stony notes. Very firm, refreshing palate, lemon and flowering herbs combine to create a sensual mouthfeel. Subtly mineral and salty in the aftertaste.
Vinification
From 46-year-old vines, hand picked; aged for 8 months on fine yeast in stainless steel tanks. No fining, cold clarification and easy filtration before bottling.
